Strange urbanism guidelines in Brussels

Strange urbanism guidelines in Brussels / St-Josse-Ten-Noode : old used cars painted in yellow with faded plants in them. The ground is also painted in yellow. The initial idea was to create a new pedestrian zone called “Walking Madou”, but the creators (Studio36, Brussels) did not really realize that the yellow painting will fade and disintegrate with the time, as rain falls and people walk on it. It was initially supposed to stay there for 3 months but now after 7 months, it looks like very dusty and dirty. Again, it doesn’t give a modern image of Brussels. Just a proof that Brussels is still babbling in terms of urbanism. 20121103-102215.jpg20121103-102224.jpgAnd how it looked like 7 months ago …
